Lead Carpenter
We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys leading projects, and is passionate about residential construction.
Position Summary
As a Lead Carpenter, you will oversee residential remodeling and renovation projects from start to finish. You will lead the job site, coordinate daily activities, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest level of craftsmanship.
This position is ideal for a motivated, self-directed carpenter with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive experience in both rough and finish carpentry.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential remodeling, renovation, and addition projects.
- Perform high-quality rough and finish carpentry.
- Supervise and mentor carpenters while coordinating subcontractors.
- Maintain project schedules and communicate progress with the Production Manager.
- Order and manage project materials as needed.
- Ensure projects meet company quality standards and exceed client expectations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Resolve field issues efficiently while keeping projects on schedule.
- Deliver exceptional craftsmanship on every project.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of residential carpentry experience required.
- Proven experience leading remodeling or renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and residential construction methods.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a crew.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Complete set of personal hand tools, cordless tools, and essential power tools.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) is preferred.
Carpenter
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys learning and growing in the trade, and is passionate about residential construction.
Position Summary
As a Carpenter, you will perform residential carpentry under the direction of a Lead Carpenter or Production Manager. You will contribute to the successful completion of remodeling, renovation, and addition projects while maintaining our high standards for craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential remodeling, renovation, and addition work.
- Complete rough and finish carpentry with attention to detail.
- Assist with demolition, framing, trim installation, cabinetry, siding, doors, windows, and other carpentry tasks.
- Follow construction drawings, specifications, and project instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Work efficiently to help projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and properly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and homeowners.
- Deliver exceptional craftsmanship and professionalism on every project.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and jobsite rules.
Qualifications
- Basic residential carpentry knowledge and skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn from experienced carpenters.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Complete set of personal hand tools.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
